The visit of Sabra and Shatela terrorist Ariel Sharon (Israeli opposition Likud party leader) to Haram al-Sharif of Al-Aqsa Mosque compound caused a lot of tension and anger to the Palestinian worshippers who tried not to allow Sharon from entering the Mosque , and pushed him to short-cut his tour and return back by throwing stones on him and on his security which was more then few hundreds . Israeli riot police and Sharon security clashed with the protested Palestinian and left a big number of them injured .

Sabra and Shatela terrorist Ariel Sharon took this tour to the Al-Aqsa complex to demonstrate that Israel is in control and to give a message to the Palestinian and the Islamic world that Israel will never give back Al-Aqsa Mosque to them and that this is a holy area to Jews where they claim that it has been build on the place of there holy 'Soliman Temple' and they will work to demolish Al-Aqsa and build there 'Temple' on it's place .

Israeli riot police stormed the Al-Aqsa compound and opened fire on worshippers, killing seven Palestinians and wounding 220 in the worst bloodshed in four years .

Violence began during Friday prayers when the compound was filled with 20,000 worshippers. Israeli Officers fired rubber-coated steel pellets and snipers shot live rounds on the prayers just before the end of the pray. Number of Palestinians hit by rubber bullets fell to the ground and were carried away on stretchers.

As news of the clashes spread, riots erupted in other areas of Arab East Jerusalem and the West Bank. In Bethlehem, rocks littered the main road and thick clouds of black smoke from burning tyres rose into the skies.

Sharon's visit was the trigger for the violence and that many casualties were the result of a "pre-planned massacre" by the Israeli security forces.

The French Television today prodcast a video shows Israeli soldiers opened fire for more then 45 minutes at an 12 Years old boy (Mohammed al-Durah) and his father who was trying to shield his son from the Israeli soldiers bullets , both has been directly shoed , the son died in the spot and the father critically wounded . An ambulance driver ( Bassam el-Balbesi ) was also killed while trying to rescue them , and a second ambulance driver was wounded.

The total of Palestinian casualties in the third day of the Al-Aqsa Intifada has risen to 22 martyrs, seven on Friday and 15 on Saturday , Four others clinically dead. The number of injuries is more then 500 .

Israeli occupation authorities used heavy machine guns and anti-tanks missiles against peaceful Palestinian protesters near Gaza town.

In the West Bank, violent demonstrations have been reported in Al-Qodus, Ramallah, al-Khalil (Hebron), Bethlehem and Ramallah.

A general strike and mourning prevailed throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip in protest against the Zionist crimes at Al-Aqsa mosque .
