Day 4 : 01.10.2000

The total of Palestinian martyrs since Friday was 32 and that over 700 wounded, about 80 of whom sustained serious gun-shot wounds. 50% of the casualties were below the age of 18, adding that 55% of the injuries were caused by live munitions and internationally-prohibited bullets of the Dom-Dom category, which explode after penetrating the body causing further damage to body tissues.

Israel soldiers and settlers started to target journalists and cameramen covering the continuing unrest in the West Bank and Gaza Strip ,they shot and seriously wounded two local cameramen working for two foreign news agencies. Amer al Ja’abari, 30, a cameraman working for ABC, was shot in the forehead with a steel bullet his condition was described as serious . Another cameramen, Mazen Da’ana, 37, was also injured in the chest by live ammunition his condition was listed also as serious.

Tens of thousands of Palestinians in the Jewish state took to the streets to show solidarity with their Palestinian brothers in the West Bank and Gaza Strip . In several instances, the Israeli police used live ammunitions against Arab protesters inside the Jewish state.

At least eight anti-tank missiles were fired at a Palestinian police garrison outpost near Gaza. Two Palestinians were killed and over seventy injured during clashes with Zionist troops.

Day 5 Day 5

Day 5 : Monday 02.10.2000

Violent confrontations between heavily armed Israeli soldiers and unarmed Palestinian protesters continued for the fifth consecutive day , with the Israeli army using heavy machine guns and anti-Tank missiles in a desperate effort to quell Palestinian anger over the desecration of Muslim holy places in Jerusalem by Israeli opposition leader Ariel Sharon.

The Intifada continue in almost all the main cities of Gaza Strip and the West Bank . The latest reports showed that the total from Sunday's events reached 12 martyrs and the injuries 430 , at least 22 of the wounded sustained gunshot wounds in the head and the chest, and their condition was listed as between serious and critical.

In Gaza Strip, Israeli helicopter gunships have attacked Palestinian police positions. The attack helicopters bombarded three cars at the Netzarim Junction, killing two policemen and injuring others. The use of the Israeli air force against Palestinian protesters is viewed as a dangerous escalation aimed at subjugating the evolving Palestinian intifada.

Moreover, various manifestations of unrest continued to take place across the Green Line (1948-Palestine), with Palestinian youths hurling stones on Israeli soldiers and blocking entrances of Palestinian towns. At least two Palestinians from the 1,200,000 strong Palestinian community in the Jewish state were killed by Zionist bullets. Over a hundred people were reported injured, including ten sustaining seriously injuries.

Day 6 : Tuesday 03.10.2000

Despite a cease-fire understanding between Israel and the Palestinian Authorities, violent clashes and confrontations between heavily-armed Israeli soldiers and stone-hurling Palestinian protesters continued in several parts of the West Bank and Gaza Strip .

Israeli forces were firing rubber bullets and tear gas shells at schools, in addition to snipers stationed on rooftops opening fire at Palestinian protesters as well as pedestrians.

The total of Palestinian martyrs who were killed by the Zionists since Friday has reached 60, with the injuries topping the 2000 figure.

At least two Palestinian protesters were killed and as many as 15 others were wounded when heavily-armed Israeli occupation soldiers opened fire at a group of Palestinian youths hurling stone at Zionist outposts near to Netzarim Junction in the central part of the Gaza Strip.

Day 7 : Wednesday 04.10.2000

Two Palestinians were martyred at dawn Wednesday near the village of Beitunya, 10 kilometers south west of Ramallah. Earlier, there was another martyr at the village of Kufer Manda across the green line in 1948-Palestine. With the three martyrs, the total of Palestinian martyrs since the beginning of the Al-Aqsa Intifadha rises to 65, and the number of injuries to more then 2000, scores of them sustaining serious gunshot wounds in the upper parts of their bodies, particularly in the head and chest.

Israeli army continued to pound buildings and PA police positions, using helicopter gunships where more than thirty casualties were reported.

In Hebron, angry Palestinian demonstrators yesterday smashed a Palestinian Authority police vehicle telling the security elements to give them weapons or fight the occupation soldiers who are showering civilians with live and rubber bullets.

A Zionist official has described the wave of protests convulsing 1948-occupied Palestine as the most violent since the creation of Israel 52 years ago. The Zionist state is treating the 1948-Palestinians as an unwanted minority. Hence the bloody repression of Palestinian protests across the green line. At least 10 Palestinians were killed and over 200 people injured in 1948 Palestine so far.

Nine Palestinian citizens receive treatment at the ophthalmology hospital in Gaza two of whom had completely lost their eyesight. One of them 11 years old Sulaiman Ibrahim lost his eyesight after being shot at by a Zionist sniper near the settlement of Nitsarim to the south of Gaza Strip, which turned into a real war arena.

Day 8 : Thursday 05.10.2000

Clashes between Palestinian protesters and heavily armed Israeli troops resumed Thursday evening in several parts of the Occupied territories despite an earlier cease-fire.

Four additional Palestinian Martyrs killed by Zionist snipers Thursday afternoon. One more Palestinian youth was killed near Bethlehem, a second in Gaza and a third succumbing to injures he sustained in Monday's clashes. The death total of Palestinian casualties is 71 martyrs and 2369 injures, scores of them sustaining serious gunshot wounds.

On 04.10.2000 , A meeting between Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak and PA chairman Yasser Arafat held in Paris, ended indecisively after Barak refused Palestinian demands that a neutral international commission of inquiry be formed to look into Zionist atrocities against Palestinian civilians killed and maimed scores of children. The Israeli army used helicopter gunships and anti-tank rockets, as well as heavy machine-guns against stone-throwing youngsters, prompting human rights observers to label as the Israeli overreaction as "a true carnage." . The indiscriminate killing of Palestinian protesters began last on 28 September when Israeli war criminal Ariel Sharon paid a provocative visit to the Haram al Sharif compound, in utter defiance of Muslim sensibilities .

The martyrs' total of Wednesday's clashes was nine., resulted bringing the death total to over 70 since the beginning of Israel's carnage of Palestinians since 28 September. So far, Israeli occupation forces have injured 2657 Palestinians.

Day 9 : Friday 06.10.2000

In al-Aqsa Mosque , Israeli soldiers fired rubber-coated bullets on Palestinian youths who chased the Israeli out of Aqsa, injuring twenty protesters. The youths set fire on an Israeli police tower overlooking the al-Haram al-Sharif and raise the Palestinian flag in top of adjacent building and in the Dome of the Rock Mosque .

Tens of thousands of Palestinians took to the streets throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip to express their outrage and indignation at Israeli atrocities against the Palestinian people. Massive demonstrations and marches proceeded from mosques , forming huge and long marches, clashed with Israeli occupation soldiers in several "friction spots" in Hebron, Bethlehm, Ramallah, Nablus and Tulkarm. Israeli soldiers, taking positions of rooftops, fired rubber-coated steel bullets, stun grenades on the demonstrators, injuring as may as fifty protesters, three of them seriously.

More than 100,000 people hit the streets in Gaza Strip calling Hamas’s to avenge from the Israeli army .

Day 10 : Satarday 07.10.2000

The Israeli Army and settlers have withdrawn from Qabr Yusuf, a small Islamic site which was converted into a synagogue several years ago. The site has always been a central friction point between Israeli and Palestinians since it is located in the heart of the Arab town of Nablus. As soon as the site was vacated, Palestinian youths went inside and destroyed the buildings.

The Israeli army shot dead two Palestinian refugees and injured more than twenty others during a refugee protest at Israeli massacres . The two are Hasan Hassanein, 23, of Shatila camp , and Fadi Anas, of Bourj Al Barajneh camp . At least 20 others have been taken to Tyre hospital with injuries.

At least one Palestinian was martyred and number of Palestinians were injured in renewed confrontations between heavily armed Israeli occupation soldiers and Palestinian demonstrators protesting continuing Israeli carnage against the Palestinian people. In Gaza , one Palestinian youth was shot dead at the Shuhada junction in Gaza with fifteen other protesters getting injured. In Tulkarm, at least ten people were injured, four of sustaining gunshot wounds. In Al-Khalil, more than 15 Palestinian protesters were injured in confrontations in Yatta, Samou, Bani Naim and the Fawwar refugee camp. In Jenin, six Palestinians were reported injured.

In Southern Lebanon, Hizbullah forces captured three Israeli soldiers as prisoners near the Shab'a farms. The Israeli government threatened to bomb the Lebanese capital Beirut if the three soldiers were not released.

News reported that the Jewish General Ayora Eiland was the man who issued orders for the killing of the Palestinian child Mohammed al-Durah while trying to hide behind his father in the tragic scene that shook the whole world.

Day 11 : Sunday 08.10.2000

On Saturday, Barak issued an ultimatum to Arafat to stop the Iftifada within 48 hours.

Barak is studying a prisoners of war swap where Israel would release Lebanese Islamic leaders, in exchange for three Israeli soldiers captured by Hizbullah at the Shab’a farms, a Lebanese territory occupied by Israel .

Israel PM Ehud Barak has ordered Gaza International Airport shut down , Presedant Arafat is allowed to use the airport , this action has been taken after an Israeli bus carrying Israeli border and customs officer came under fire near Rafah Saturday night.

The UN Security Council approved a resolution condemning the excessive use of force and calling for an immediate resumption of Israeli-Palestinian peace talks with a speedy and objective inquiry on the fighting.

Israeli troops opened fire on school children in Gaza, injuring three of them. Israeli soldiers fired on the children on their way to school in Central Gaza. One of the children was shot in the back, a second in the left foot and a third in the right foot.

Jewish settelers attacked Arab homes in Nazareth ,thorowing stones at Arab homes, fired rubber-coated bullets and tear gas at Palestinans. Five Palestinians were reported injured. Earlier hundreds of Jews encircled the home of Arab Knesset member Azmi Bishara, shouting "death to the Arabs," and "we'll kill all the arabs." During the last ten days clashes between the 1948 Palestinains and the Israeli police left 11 dead and over 300 injured.

Jewish settlers abducted a Palestinian farmer Isam Judeh Mustafa Hamed, 47 years old , from his olive orchard, took him to their nearby settlement, bludgeoned him to death with clubs and axes and then set his mutilated body on fire.

Two Palestinians were killed and many were injured when a Jewis settlers attacked Arab homes and Businesses in Nazareth in 1948-Palestine Sunday night. Omar Muhammed Akkawi, 42 years old, and Wisam Yazbak, 22, were shot dead , two other Palestinians sustained critical injuries.

Jewish settlers, armed with automatic rifles, axes, and clubs, went to Hebron for the third consecutive night, smashing the windshields of Arab cars and firing heavily on Arab windows.

Jewish settlers continued their attacks on Palestinians within East Jerusalem, shooting live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets and smashing cars and shops. Two Palestinians were martyred . They are Abdul Hameed Tayeh, of al Mazra'a al Sharkiyya , and Ali Sayel ali Ishak from Azzoun .

It has been reported that the Palestinian Authority had started to prevent Palestinian citizens from throwing stones at Israeli occupation troops. Policemen drew back the demonstrators from the Nitsarim juncture while the Israeli soldiers continued to fire at them injuring 12.

Tanks and armored military vehicles were deployed along the Jerusalem main road near Shufat and Beit Hanina. A number of injuries have been reported. Moreover, Jewish setterls, who have apparently given a free rein to attack unarmed Palestinians, continued to rampage through isolated Arab villages and hamlets.

The Israeli foreign ministry has asked families of its diplomats in the Arab countries to return home immediately.

As per PA orders , Palestinian workers reconstructed and painted Joseph's Tomb, in the West bank city of Nablus. The religious shrine was ransacked last Saturday by Palestinians just after Israeli soldiers evacuated the site.

Jewish settlers have been attacking churches and mosques throughout the Jewish state as part of thier campaign against Arabs, Muslims and Christians alike. In Yaffa, Jewish saboteurs "Jami Hasan Bek", an old Mosque on fire. Several Arab homes and busienss were also vandalized by the saboteurs. Thousands of Jaffa Palestinian residents managed in putting out the fire. Few days back a Jewish rolled burning tires into the "Omari Mosque" in the town of Tabariya, setting the mosque in fire.

Jewish settlers closed the Hebron-Jerusalem highway and some other main roads in the occupied territories. Meanwhile, settlers continued to maraud Arab towns and villages in the West Bank, attacking unarmed and helpless Palestinian farmers and often setting fire on their olive fields. Settlers have been implicated in at least four gruesome murders of Palestinians in the past few days.

Barak extended his ultimatum to the Palestinian Authority for another 48 hours to end the Intifadha or else the peace process would be declared dead.

Day 14 : Wednesday 11.10.2000

In Gaza city , during a rally, a huge number of Palestinian demostrators burn Israeli and American flag.

The number of Palestinian martyres today has reached four, the martyres are Sami Salameh, 17, of Qalkilya, Karam Qanan, 19, of Khan Younis, Saleh Uthman, 38 of Kufl Haris, near Nablus ( deliberately run over by a settler jeep) and fourth unidentified Palestinian was also martyred.

Israeli helicopter gunships continued to pound Palestinain towns and villages with heavy machinegun rounds, iflicting heavy causalties and damage. Settlers mobs protected by the Israeli army are attack Arab home in number of villages in various parts of the West Bank, with Palestinian repulsing them .

Israeli occupation authorities sealed all the towns and villages in the Occupied Territories and barring Palestinians from entering Alqods (Jerusalem) and 1948-Palestine . Israeli authorities have also cancelled all 45,000 Israeli work permits issued to Palestinians.

On October 12, 2000 , Sami Abu Jazar (12 years old boy) was carried to the graveyard in the Gaza Strip city of Rafah in a huge funeral . Sami, was shot directly by an Israeli soldiers with a live bullet in his head on Oct. 10, 2000 , For two days Sami Abu Jazar, was connected to a life support machine in the intensive care unit at Al-Shafah hospital in Gaza Strip in a very critical condition .(Photo 1)

Two Israeli undercover soldiers provocatively arrived in Ramallah during a funeral procession of one of the victims of the Israeli repression of Palestinians.

The soldiers, who apparently were on a mission to assassinate Palestinians, were discovered and taken to a nearby police station, where angry Palestinians eventually killed them.

A Third Israeli soldier reportedly fled away. Palestinian police reported a small machineguns and silencers were found in the possession of the undercover soldiers.

Israeli helicopter gunships began bombing Palestinian Authority police headquarters in Ramallah. The bombing target the several police stations and headquarters of PA security agencies. The bombing resulted in at least 16 injures. (Photo 2)

Later on, Israeli helicopters hit four major positions in Gaza, including the headquarters of Force-17, the Naval police headquarters, the Gaza Port and a the Police Academy in the southern outskirts of Gaza.

PA forces were put on high alert and PA Chairman Yasser Arafat has appaled to the international community to intervene to stop the Israeli aggression and provide protection for the Palestinian people. This attackes were a retaliation for the killing of two undercover Israeli soldiers by angry Palestinians in Ramallah.

Israel border policeman and army refused the entry of all young and middle aged Palestinian men to the al-Aqsa mosque for attending Friday prayers. Hundreds of Palestinian have to do there pray on the street of Al-Qouds out of Al-Aqsa Mosque . Some clashes took place in Jerusalem following prayers. (Photo 1)

In Ramallah city in the West Bank , Israeli Army opens fire with live ammunition during a demonstration of several thousand Palestinians marched to confront Israeli troops stationed outside town following yesterday's destruction to the Palestinian police station by Israeli helicopter gunships. Palestinian leadership agreed to participate in Sharm el-Sheikh summit. PA officials assure the people that PA participation in the conference would not be at the expense of the intifada.

The total palestinian killed in the ongoing Israeli bloody clashes with the Palestinian intifada reached to 110 and the number of injures reached more then 4000.

In Gaza city, Thousands of Palestinians took to the streets in a huge demonstration , Palestinian were carrying a coffin with the picture of Clinton and the USA flag , also another coffin with Israeli flag and Barak photo, demonstrators were protest against the PNA decision to participate in Sharm el-Sheikh summit.

Another Palestinian was martyred by Israeli soldiers bullets Friday night in confrontation between Palestinian protesters and heavily armed Israeli soldiers near Al Fawar refugee camp south West of Hebron. Shadi Alwawi was killed when Israeli occupation soldiers randomly opened live bullets fire at Palestinian shacks in the refugee camp, Eyewitness reported that Alwawi was standing in front of his home when he was hit by an Israeli live bullet in the head. Palestinian march in his funeral.

PNA police have sent re-arrest warrants to a number of Islamic activist who have been released from prisons in the last few days. Hamas Movement has rejected accusations that the Movement was the cause of the burning of "Tourism sites" such as liquor stores , few days back group of young men, who separated from a march organized by Hamas , had attacked two liquor stores along with a hotel and restaurant.

Day 18 : Sunday 15.10.2000

Israeli occupation troops continued to impose a hermetic closure on most Palestinian towns and villages throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Hizbullah had captured an Israeli colonel, in a unique security operation . An Israeli spokesman reported that the a former colonel might have been abducted by Hizbullah from Europe.

Thousands of Palestinians took to the streets in a huge demonstration in Gaza Strip and number of cities in the West Bank protesting against the PNA decision to participate in Sharm el-Sheikh summit scheduled for Monday.

Day 19 : Monday 16.10.2000

In all main towns in Gaza Strip and West Bank , thousands of Palestinians took to the streets protesting the Egyptian-arranged Sharm El-Sheikh summit .

In Ramallah city in the West Bank , Palestinian youths were pushing a burning tires and hurl rocks at Israeli soldiers during demonstrations.

In Hebron , number of Palestinian were injured during clashes with Israeli soldiers, Palestinians were hurls rocks at Israeli soldiers.

Israeli army sniper killed a Palestinian school child in a cold-blooded manner in Bethlehem while the child was returning home from school. The child, 14 year old Moayad Jawareesh, was fatally wounded when Israeli soldiers stationed on building rooftops in the vicinity of the Bilal Ibn Rabah Mosque opened fire on a group of school children who were returning from school at the Ayda refugee camp in Bethlehem. The Palestinian child, who was still carrying his school bag, was hit with a live bullet in the head. He died immediately. (Photo 1)

An Israeli soldiers opens fire on a Palestinian demonstrators during clashes in the southern Gaza Strip town of Khan Yones. Palestinians were throwing stones at an Israeli military jeep which was protecting the Jewish settlement of Gush Katif on the outskirts of the city . Number of Palestinian were injured in the clashes.

Another Palestinian was killed by Israeli soldiers bullets in Gaza, Musbah Abdul Kader Abu Ma’atuh, 29 Years old, was killed as he was trying to prevent Palestinian protesters from hurling stones on Israeli positions.

Ra'ed Ya'coub Hammoudeh, 30 years old, from Al Bireh, was laid to rest today, having succumbed to the wounds he sustained four days ago in confrontations with the Israeli soldiers . Ra'ed was shot in the head with live ammunition and remained in critical condition for four days until his death.

Day 20 : Tuesday 17.10.2000

Sharm-el-Sheikh summit issued a vaguely-worded statement saying " the two sides agreed to a cease-fire and return to the status that preceded the current wave of violence ". The statement said a fact-finding committee would be formed by the United states in coordination with UN Secretary-General Kufi Annan to establish how the violence started.

Clashes between heavily armed Israeli soldiers and unarmed Palestinian civilians continued throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

In the West Bank, confrontations also continued along the friction lines in Nablus, Ramallah, Hebron, Bethlehem.

40-years old Nabil Al-Abed Khater was killed by Israeli bullet near the Beit Hanun crossing.

Earlier, Farid Masatra, a 28-year-old Palestinian farmer was murdered by Israeli settlers near the village of Beit Furik near Nablus. The settlers armed with machine guns opened fire on a group of Palestinian farmers killing Farid Masatra and injuring seriously three of his relatives.

In Rafah , the Israeli bombarded with rockets Palestinian buildings and at the northern edge of the Gaza Strip Israeli soldiers opened fire on Palestinian laborers, wounding six of them. More then 150 Palestinian protesters were injured in today confrontations.

Large marches took place in Palestinian towns in the West Bank and Gaza Strip , protesting Sharm el-Sheikh agreement which makes most Palestinians feel deeply disappointed. As a results of the demonstrations , clashes with Israeli occupation soldiers continued in many parts of the West Bank and Gaza Strip and the Israeli occupation soldiers continued to open fire at unarmed Palestinian demonstrators. Over a hundred Palestinian injures were reported .

In Deir al-Balah, near the Jewish settlement of Kfar Darom, in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian demonstrates throw stones in the direction of Israeli soldiers and the soldiers returned by live bullets and rubber coated steel bullets . Thousands of Palestinians took to the streets on the West Bank voicing their rejection of the Sharm el-Sheikh agreement and vowing to keep up the Aqsa Intifada until the Palestinian people regain freedom and liberation from the Jewish occupation.

In the West Bank city of Ramallah , Israeli soldiers fired live and rubber coated steel bullets against the Palestinians demonstrators causing number of injuries.

Giorgio Giacomelli A U.N. investigator mandated by the U.N. Commission on Human Rights to the Palestinian territories reported the scale of Palestinian deaths at the hands of Israeli forces during a wave of violence over the past 20 days was " unprecedented ." He also expressed concern about what he called Israeli settler " paramilitaries " who he said were responsible for at least five Palestinian deaths in the West Bank.

" In some sense the scale of this violation is unprecedented. It is worthy of note that the number of deaths caused by Israeli forces so far approximate the number killed in the first four months of the intifada, in 1987-88" Giacomelli said in his seven-page report issued in Geneva. The report also said that Israeli forces " appear to have indiscriminately used excessive force in cases where there was no imminent threat to their lives. "

The report add that about 40 percent of an estimated 2,000 to 3,700 Palestinians wounded by Israeli occupation forces were under age 18 and that at least half of the injuries resulted from the use of live ammunition.

" Presently, the Israeli settler population has emerged as an increasingly obvious source of paramilitary activity. Numerous reports indicate that Israeli occupation forces have not acted to deter such paramilitary activities " Giacomelli report said.

According to the report, Israel, refused to cooperate with the U.N. investigator .

At least three Palestinians were killed and over 15 other injured in two separate incidents in the West Bank.

In the West Bank village of Beit-Ymar near Hebron, the flag-wrapped body of Ibrahim Allame (25 Years old), who was killed by Israel fire , were carried by number of Palestinians during a funeral procession in the streets of the village. (Photo 1)

In Bethlehem, at least two Palestinian officers were killed and several others injured when a powerful blast rocked a building housing the Force-17, the Presidential guards of PNA chairman Yasser Arafat. The blast was likely caused by a gas leak.

Palestinian men under the age of 40 were prohibited from praying Friday pray in the Al-Aqsa Mosque inside the old city for the second week . Clashes broke out between Israeli police and Palestinian youths who tried to break through a barrier to enter two different gates of the mosque compound. (Photo 1)

Israeli soldiers killed at least nine Palestinian demonstrators, including two children, during continued protests over Israeli occupation.

In Nablus, in the West Bank, four Palestinian were killed by Israeli snipers stationed at rooftops. The Israeli army overran PA controlled parts of Nablus intensive random shooting in all direction.

In Salfit, near Ramallah, 13-year-old Ala Bassam Bani Nimra, was shot dead when Israeli settlers and soldiers opened fire at a peaceful demonstration outside the town, situated 15 km north west of Ramallah. The boy was hit in the chest and succumbed to his wounds immediately.

A child was seriously injured in Khan Younis in Gaza when Israeli occupation soldiers opened fire randomly on Palestinians. The five years old child was playing at her home's veranda when a bullet hit her in the head.

Thousands of Palestinians marched through the streets of the West Bank, demanding the end of occupation . Demonstrators urged Arab leaders meeting in Cairo to cut ties with Israel and to impose an Arab economic embargo against Israel .

Heavily armed Israeli soldiers opened fire on unarmed Palestinian protesters in several locations in the West Bank and Gaza, killing, injuring many.

Four Palestinians were killed and over 200 injured by Israeli soldiers bullets on another day of Infitada .

Tens of thousands of Palestinians took part throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip in funeral processions of four martyrs.

Confrontations between stone throwing Palestinian youths and heavily armed Israeli occupation soldiers continued day, with at least four martyrs and more then hundred injuries on the Palestinian side.

Two Palestinians were killed in Hebron . And two more Palestinian martyrs in the Gaza Strip, including a 14 year old boy, whose head was riddled with Israeli soldiers live bullets near the Beit Hanun Crossing point in Gaza Strip. At least three others were reported seriously injured including one clinically dead.

Israeli soldiers and settlers have killed over 140 Palestinians, including 37 children, and injured as many as 5000 others, since Al-Aqsa intifada began on 28 September.

Two more Palestinians were laid to rest today, one in Gaza, the other in Hebron.

In Gaza, Iyad Sha’ath (13 year old) died, having succumbed to the serious wounds he sustained last week. He was hit by a live M-16 bullet in the head, causing a rupture in his brain.

In Hebron, Abdulaziz Abu Sneineh (60 years old), was killed by a random Israeli bullet. A 500 mm machinegun bullet hit Abu Sneineh in the head, killing him instantly.

Israel placed its police forces on high alert in anticipation of possible attacks on Israeli targets inside 1948-Palestine (Israel) by Palestinian fighters.

30 Palestinian children escaped death when Israeli occupation soldiers in the Gaza Strip fired a tank shell at their school bus. The shell hit the back section of the bus, none of the kids was wounded.

Demonstration continued in all towns of Gaza Strip and West Bank , protesting the Israeli occupation and demanding an end to it .

Four Palestinians, were martyred by Israeli occupation soldiers in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. As many as 250 people were injured, six sustaining serious gunshot wounds.

Jabre Ahmed al-Mishal (23 years) from Shate’ refugee camp, in the Gaza Strip, Yousef Salem A’waysa (26 years old) from Ramallah, Ahmed Khalil Qasem (28 years old) from Tulkarm and Bashir Salehm Mousa Shalwit (13 years old) from Qalqikya.

The clashes between the stone throwing Palestinians and the Israeli soldiers continued throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip . Clashes were in Ramallah, Hebron, Tulkarm, and Jenin and throughout Gaza Strip.

In Gaza , Palestinians stone throwers faces the Israeli tanks by there bodies, during clashes at the Karni crossing point between Israel and the Gaza Strip. In Jenin , Israeli occupation soldiers killed two twin Palestinians on the West Bank, by random machinegun fire while standing in their backyard. Bilal Rashad Salahat (20 years old) and Hilal Rashad Salahat (20 years old) from Ya'bad - Jenin, Shot in the head by a 500-mm bullet.

Israeli occupation army shot tear gas canisters into classrooms in primary school at a West Bank village of Ta’ku near Bethlehem, seriously suffocating 24 of children.

Medical sources reported that this type of tear-gas used by Israeli occupation army differs from the standard tear-gas used around the world , it is a semi-poisonous gas that leaves strong aftereffect, including nervous reactions as well as strong abdominal pains.

An explosive device went off along the main road linking Rafah to Khan Younis blasting an Israeli military convoy that was on its way to Morag settlement.

Day 33 : Monday 30.10.2000

The Old Town of Hebron, where some 30,000 Palestinians live, have been under a curfew since 28 October, and Israeli soldiers don't hesitate to shoot to kill Palestinians who get out of their homes even for an emergency.

At least two Israeli were killed in two separate incidents on the West Bank.

Israeli settlers opened fire at Palestinian villagers at the Beit Ummar intersection north of Hebron, injuring one Palestinian.

A Jewish settler hit a 45 years old Palestinian woman and run from the village of Beitlo to the west of Ramallah. Her condition is critical.

In the first incident, an attacker opened fire on two Israeli soldiers who were standing guard outside the offices of "the social security department" in East Jerusalem. One guard was killed immediately while the other sustained serious injury. The attacker fled the scene.

In the second incident, an Israeli settler from the settlement of Gilo near Beit Jala, was found dead, in a gorge outside the settlement.

Israeli helicopter gunships launched several attacks on Palestinian civilian and police positions, inflicting heavy damage and injuring five Palestinians.

Helicopters fired missiles at offices belonging to the Fatah organization in Ramallah and Nablus.

Force-17 offices in Khan Younis also came under attack.

Israeli helicopters also strafed Palestinian residential areas in several localities in the West Bank and Gaza Strip with heavy machine guns, inflicted relatively heavy damage.

Israeli helicopters also bombed the Fatah Movement’s headquarters in the city of Al-Bireh completely destroying the premises and severely damaging nearby houses.

Five Palestinian protesters were martyred and over fifty injured during fresh clashes between unarmed Palestinians and heavily armed Zionist occupation soldiers.

The martyrs are: Shadi Oudeh (21 years old), Hazem Abu Daf (17 years old) , Muhammed Hallaf (23 years old) from Gaza, Sa’ed Ibrahim Alzein (21 years old) from Ramallah, and Salim Harbi Mataryeh (25 years old) a policeman from the village of Alkhader near Bethlehem.
